Daily Care of your Invisalign® Aligners

Care Instructions:
  1. Clean your Aligners prior to each insertion. Use of the Invisalign® Cleaning System is recommended for the effortless extra strength cleaning and clarity that it provide Aligners.
  2. Rinse well after each cleaning.
  3. DO NOT use denture cleaners to clean Aligners or soak them in mouthwash. These products can damage the surface of the plastic, causing it to become dull -- and more visible.

Proper Oral Hygiene:

  1. Always remove your Aligners before meals.
  2. Brush your teeth after each meal and prior to re-inserting your Aligners
  3. Brush and floss according to your usual routine.
  4. Regular checkups and cleaning are recommended for the continued health of your teeth and gums.

Storing Your Invisalign Aligner:

  1. Two Aligner cases are included in your starter kit. We recommend that you store your Invisalign® Aligners in a case when not in your mouth. This will protect them from potential damage.
  2. Designate one of your two Aligner cases as case #1. Sore the Aligners you are currently using in this case.
  3. When it is time to switch up to the next stage, store the old Aligners in your in your second case. Always keep the most recently used Aligners in this case. If an Aligner is lost or broken, your doctor may recommend that you temporarily go back one stage and use the Aligners in the other case while a replacement is being made. Please note that it is only necessary to store the most recently used set of Aligners. When it is tie to switch stages again, discard the oldest Aligners and store the most recently used set.
